That's a wrap on SIGGRAPH 2026!

This year's event brought together artists, technologists, researchers, and industry leaders to exchange ideas and explore the innovations shaping the future of our industry.

Representing Pitch Black were Troy Tobin (Head of Research & Innovation, Pitch Black), Alex Meddick (Head of Technology, Rising Sun Pictures), Louis-Philippe Clavet (Head of CG, FOLKS), Jonathan Gagnon (R&D Director, Pitch Black), and Jazz Flood (Executive Vice President New Business, Pitch Black), who connected with peers, partners, and innovators from across the visual effects community.

Troy also joined Foundry's Birds of a Feather session, "The Last 20%: Getting GenAI to a Deliverable Frame," where the conversation focused on one of the industry's biggest challenges: turning AI into production-ready tools that genuinely support artists.
