Executive Vice President, New Business
Jazz Flood is Executive Vice President of New Business at Pitch Black, where she leads client engagement and drives global growth across its studios - FOLKS, Rising Sun Pictures (RSP), El Ranchito, and Square One.
With more than 15 years of experience in visual effects, Jazz has built a career at the intersection of business development and production strategy. She began at MPC in 2011, where her curiosity, production insight, and people-first approach quickly steered her from coordination into business development. Rising to EVP of Business Development, she played a pivotal role in shaping the growth of MPC and the broader Technicolor VFX group - building a global team spanning nine locations.
Her portfolio of work spans some of the most ambitious projects in film and episodic storytelling, including The Jungle Book, The Lion King, 1917, Life of Pi, Prehistoric Planet, and Wednesday. Known for her ability to align creative ambition with production realities, Jazz has collaborated with executives, producers, and VFX supervisors worldwide to deliver strategies that support both artistry and scale.
Recognized for her energy, loyalty, and collaborative spirit, Jazz is deeply committed to supporting artists, producers, and clients alike. She credits her growth to the mentorship and generosity of colleagues throughout her career and continues to pay that forward by creating opportunities for others.
Based in Pitch Black’s new Burbank studio, Jazz is focused on making it easier for clients to connect with Pitch Black’s global talent and capabilities, and on strengthening the partnerships that fuel bold creative work.
