Tony Clark is a 30-year innovator and entrepreneur who helped put the Australian visual effects industry on the map, inspired a generation of creative artists and technologists and worked to solve common creative problems that enabled the visual effects industry to become truly global.

An Emmy Award winning cinematographer, he started working in television and documentary and advanced to a director of photography in feature films. Innovation is a common thread throughout, with the application of technology to solving creative problems, resulting in motion control camera systems and technologies such as cineSpace, cineNet and the Academy and Emmy Award winning remote collaboration tool cineSync.

In 1995, Tony co-founded Rising Sun Pictures (RSP) and has been pivotal in building the brand into one of the most trusted and respected visual effects studios in the world. RSP has been central in the development of Australian digital media, driving government policies and training to make Australia a world-leading, visual effects and gaming production destination.

Tony has served as a board member for South Australian Film Corporation and Ausfilm, and is currently on the board of ASX-listed Telecommunications Provider Superloop. Tony is an active member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, an Accredited member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) and a Fellow of the Visual Effects Society (VES) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).
